Where should I go to register?

Students looking to register as a special student for courses from the Faculty of Arts must register at the appropriate location, depending on the special student category they are applying for:

  • Personal interest - Register in person at InfoService, University of Ottawa, Tabaret Hall, 75 Laurier Avenue East
  • Transfer of credits, upgrading, professional certification or students from Carleton University - Register in person at the Undergraduate Office of the Faculty of Arts, at Simard 128.

BE READY: Steps to follow in order to accelerate your registration:

  1. Prepare a list of courses you wish to register for; the course code and section must be included (each section corresponds to a specific schedule);
  2. Verify the schedule of courses to prevent conflicts;
  3. Ensure that you have completed or are currently completing prerequisite courses;
  4. Bring necessary documents (transcripts, letter of permission, etc.);
  5. Have completed and signed the appropriate form "Registration (Special Students)"
